LAPARACA: a hyperlink racing game

Challenge your friends to an online multiplayer version of the Wikipedia game!

This a hobby project based upon an idea from January 2024 and first conceptualized in December 2025. My vision was to create the most fun experience for playing the Wikipedia game, whether in a party of friends or across the Internet.

In LAPARACA, players can create private lobbies and/or join public lobbies of up to 10 players. Within each lobby, each player can submit an article request, and the server selects a start and end article from the submissions. Scores are tabulated once everyone has finished; the faster you go and the fewer clicks you use, the higher you place!

Notes:

•  As this is a hobby project, LAPARACA's servers are currently being hosted on limited server bandwidth for the time being
• Players must have Google Chrome installed in order for the game window to open properly
